Witchblade weirdness!

File under WTF (For "What's this, Fonkin?)

Witchblades are now S3, with 2d6 for armor penetration and wounding on a 2+ (armourbane and fleshbane, respectively). That kinda sucks. I'd rather have the old S9+d6 for penetration. Now our average statistical AP roll is going to be a 9.5. I suppose that now vehicles are easier to hit, so it's not all doom and gloom.

Oddly enough, Singing Spears retain their abilities; S9+d6, wound on a 2+ with a 12" range and AP6.

Weirder and weirder!

Shining Spears

One of my favorite things to do when the game turns itself inside out is to go back and look at the outcasts, the misfits and the discarded toys of the past to see if they have some new application. Shining Spears would certainly fall into that category.

Now it's Sixth Edition?

First Game of Sixth Edition

Yesterday I had my very first run at 6th Edition on the table top. Carl came over to hang out with us and we ran through a quick 1500 game. I brought my Deathwing foot list and he brought his Ultramarines.

The Obligatory 6th Ed Blog Post! Now with Trolls!

First; had a great time at the IC's Farewell to Fifth shindig this weekend. Much talk was smacked, the new book was perused and great minds are already at work on the best way to break the Allies chart.

Second; I picked up my own copy of the 6th edition book and now that I've had a little free time to look it over, all I can say is...
